Research Interests
Research focuses on the taxonomy and biogeography of muroid rodents, especially Neotropical groups (oryzomyines, peromyscines), the Malagasy nesomyines, and various African murines. Current projects include various generic and specific accounts for the rodent volume of South American mammals, revision of western Mexican Oryzomys, and a new species description of the oryzomyine Oecomys (with Louise Emmons and Guy Musser).
