The photographs presented here are part of a program of larval-fish studies at Carrie Bow Cay, Belize, initiated by G. D. Johnson of the Division of Fishes, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution. C. C. Baldwin and D. G. Smith joined the project subsequently. D. G. Smith photographed the larvae in the field, scanned the images, and prepared the annotations. The web presentation was designed and produced by I. A. Bowman.
